  History
The Genesis Club was launched in October of 2006 and has successfully ran many Genesis Club
events in venues such as 'Anabels' night-club, in the Burlington Hotel, and the 'Indigo Room'
at Clontarf Castle. These events have resulted in many introductions made, and new friendships
established!!

We moved to the 'Raglan Hall' at 'The Landsdowne Hotel' on Pembroke Road, Ballsbridge in

2007, and ran many exciting Genesis Club events there, until February 2009.

In addition to the very successful Genesis Club Dance Events, we have also ran a number of

other Genesis Events, as follows:

- A Murder Mystery Night at Barbarstown Castle, which proved to be fun, entertaining and very popular.

- Speed Dating was also introduced in the Kobra Bar in Leeson Street, which was another very successful event!

- The Genesis Club linked up with both the cinema (Movies@Dundrum) and Winters Bar in Dundrum Town Centre,

and ran a very different and exciting new event for single/unattached people "an Evening of Two Halves". This

was a movie followed by a quiz, which proved to be another successful innovation by the Genesis Club.

At present we are focusing on the Genesis Club Dance event, which is proving to be the most popular event

demanded by our members, but always keep a close eye on our website from more innovative events!

Advice on Dating
1. On a first date always meet the person in a public place, so you can get home easily.

2. On a first date, never give your mobile number or phone number, just in case you are not comfortable.

3. On a first date, do tell a friend where you are meeting this person, and ask them to call you at a certain time, so you have an excuse to leave if you do not like the person.

4. Over time, you will find out how 'genuine' your date is, and we strongly advise you to meet the person a few times, get to know them.  Bring along a friend to meet them, before you invite them to your home.  It is also advisable to try to meet a friend of theirs, to reinforce your view on them as a person.
